How long does the mochi last?

It can last 1-2 days in room temperature.  If you store in the freezer, it can last up to 2 weeks. 

Is the mochi hand made everyday?

Yes, Simply Mochi makes mochi everyday and fresh to order with the freshest ingredients possible.

Are mochis available for pick up?

Yes, we currently have a new pick up location at Pot & Pantry located at 593 Guerrero St. in San Francisco. 

What is a mochi and how is it different than a daifuku?

Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into a paste and shaped according to use. Daifuku is a treat made of mochi stuffed with the sweet filling. So, daifuku is a type of mochi.

Why are the mochis not all a uniform shape and size?

All of our mochis are handmade individually and made to order so every mochi will be different.  However, all will provide little bites of happiness.

How do I pay for the mochis?

For right now, you can pay COD, cash on delivery or write a check payable to Linda Lo.  Please be patient with us as we are working on other forms of payment.
